Report

Ireland’s Women finished a respectable 3rd, winning a Bronze Medal in the World Championships in Pittsburgh 2015. They won 3 of their four Group Stage matches, including a shock victory over hosts USA, and also gaining wins over Ice Hockey powers Slovakia and Czech Republic.

They were unable to repeat their victory over USA in the Semi-Finals, however, and had to settle for Bronze after beating Slovakia for third place, in what was a great achievement for the Irish women.
